Opening Parade of the University's Intramurals 2023 leaded by BulSU Symphonic Band
BulSUans are not just acing in the academic aspect, as they can be sporty and competitive too.
This October 16, three years after the pandemic's emergence, Bulacan State University's Intramurals 2023 finally took place, with the theme "Balik Saya, Buong Sigla, Sa Bagong Simula."
The week-long event kicked off with a parade from the Activity Center to Valencia Hall, which was well-attended by faculty, students, players, and coaches as well.
Every BulSuan hailed the event's opening and showed support for their respective student-athletes who competed across different university sports competitions.

Despite minor issues, particularly in the huge number of learners that attended the event venue, where special contests were set up, it still ended up being ultimately a success.
In this aspect, the College of Information Technology (CIT) and the College of Education (COED) obtained Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2023 on the opening day.
After the enthronement of the new BulSU's Mr. and Ms. Intrams, the College of Arts and Letters took the championship for the Hip Hop Dance competition.

Along with this comes the commencement of sporting events such as basketball; which was held both within and outside the university, volleyball, chess, and also different athletic endeavors.
Other sports such as swimming, archery, futsal, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, and many more took place in the following days of the Intramurals, highlighting the Bulsuans' knowledge and abilities.
The one-day taekwondo tournament took place on Thursday, which was reigned by Sarmiento Stars bagging 12 medals, followed by Meneses Campus Pink Eagles with 8 medal awards.
Furthermore, every student's countenance reflects the joy in these sorts of events, in contrast to the extremely demanding semester and everyday grind that is waiting for them.
The said event concluded on Friday, October 20, hosted by Ms. Gilda Joy Reyes and Mr. Ralph Adrian Mamansag at Valencia Hall, exactly 1 in the afternoon.
With the finale of Intramurals 2023, the College of Sports, Exercise, and Recreation (CSER) Stallions brought home 141 medals, comprising 83 gold, 44 silver, and 14 bronze, and was proclaimed overall victor in a week-long fruitful program.
The CIT Blue Stingers and the College of Engineering (COE) Red Ants clinched the 2nd and 3rd spot, earning 82 and 59 medals respectively.
The awarding ceremony was headed by Dr. Rafael Celso, dean of CSER, appreciating the hardwork and dedication of each and every student-athletes and their supportive colleges.
Meanwhile, this event became an avenue for each BulSUans to be remarkable, and to showcase their athletic abilities in various sports, and to engage with other colleges and external campuses.
Success truly is attainable if those involved work together. Hopefully the activities that take place from October 16 to 20 be considered enjoyable and memorable for all the BulSUans.
